Cautions & Safety Guidelines

Important safety instructions and cautions for safe and effective use of Pulse IX Mega

General Safety Rules

  • Use the device only under supervision of trained healthcare professionals (physiotherapists, neuro-rehab specialists, certified technicians).
  • Remove magnetic/electronic items (cards, electronic keys, wearables, implants nearby) during use.
  • Consult a physician before use if you’ve undergone recent surgery, laser therapy, or cosmetic procedures.
  • Start with low intensity for 15–30 minutes; increase gradually with at least 5 hours gap between early sessions.
  • Stay well-hydrated before and after therapy to aid toxin elimination.
  • Remove magnetic/electronic items (cards, electronic keys, wearables, implants nearby) during use.
  • Do not apply high-intensity settings directly without gradual adjustment.
  • Store in a dry place, away from sunlight, heat, and high humidity.
  • Check device and coil integrity before each session, especially after long storage.
  • Do not use on pregnant persons, transplant patients, or those with metallic/electronic implants (pacemakers, defibrillators, neurostimulators, hearing aids).
  • Maintain 3 feet distance between applicators and sensitive items like cards, mobiles, laptops.
  • Ensure proper ventilation and placement on a stable, non-conductive surface.
  • Do not operate near MRI, RF generators, or high-power transmitters.
  • Keep away from water, steam, dust, corrosive gases, or direct sunlight.
  • Dispose through certified e-waste centers, not household waste.
  • Keep away from pets and children.
  • Clean only as recommended by Enfireix—avoid harsh chemicals or immersion in liquids.
  • Use only Enfireix-certified accessories and components.

When Not to Use (Contraindications)

  • Implanted medical devices (pacemakers, defibrillators, neurostimulators) unless approved by a physician. This applies to both patients and anyone nearby.
  • Metallic/electronic implants in treatment area (prostheses, cochlear implants, clips) without medical clearance.
  • Pregnant or nursing persons.
  • Ongoing or recent cancer treatments unless approved by oncologist.
  • Recent corticosteroid injections near treatment area.
  • Unexplained pain or undiagnosed conditions.
  • Active bleeding, fractures, or open wounds.
  • Children or patients with cognitive/sensory impairments without supervision.

Warnings & Critical Alerts

  • Do not operate near sensitive medical monitoring equipment (ECG, EEG, oxygen monitors).
  • Keep away from MRI machines and strong magnetic fields.
  • Avoid proximity to large appliances (microwaves, speakers).
  • Use only certified medical-grade adapters and coils from Enfireix.
  • Do not expose to extreme temperatures, open flames, or liquids.
  • Keep out of reach of children due to small parts, cables, magnets.
  • Do not modify, open, or repair device yourself—contact Enfireix Support.
  • Stop use if device becomes hot, smells burnt, or shows damage.
  • Do not use in oxygen-enriched environments (near oxygen tanks).
  • Dispose according to e-waste regulations for electronic devices.

Critical Alert — Do Not Service During Operation

  • Do not power off while pulses are being delivered.
  • Do not use without coils connected.
  • Do not open housing or service high-voltage block during operation.
  • Do not remove/disconnect coil during therapy.
  • Do not bypass safety interlocks or shielding.
  • Do not update firmware or reconfigure software during a session.

⚠️ These actions can result in electric shock, field disturbance, or therapy interruption. Only authorized personnel may service after full power-down and discharge.
